Hi, I'm Margaret
For most of my early life, I didn’t know what it meant to feel good in my body. I struggled with chronic gut pain, fatigue, and anxiety that only got worse in high school and college. Doctor after doctor dismissed my symptoms as “normal stress” and handed me prescriptions for pain or panic. It wasn’t until I was 19 that someone finally ran a test for Celiac disease—and everything changed.
About three months into a strict gluten-free diet, I woke up one day and realized: this is what it feels like to “feel good”, and was shocked with the understanding that I had never felt that before.
That moment marked the beginning of a completely new chapter. Over the past 18 years, I’ve learned how to live with Celiac disease. Not just physically, but emotionally, socially, and financially. I also spent 10 years working in the health food industry, gaining deep knowledge of allergy-friendly products and the resources available.
I often think back to how overwhelming those early years were. Other than a small handful of helpful people I met in the health food industry, I felt like I had no roadmap, very few people to turn to for advice, and no idea how to advocate for myself. Now, I help others fill in those gaps. I work with people navigating restrictive diets to reduce risk-taking behavior, ease food-related anxiety, and make daily life a little less stressful and a lot more empowered.
In addition to one-on-one support, I consult with businesses, schools, and restaurants to help them create safer, more inclusive spaces for people with food allergies and intolerances. Whether it’s improving labeling, adjusting kitchen protocols, or simply building awareness, my goal is to make inclusive eating more accessible for everyone.
You don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here to help.
